The structures for the 2017-18 Under-18 Leagues and Cups have been finalised. The details of next season’s arrangements are as follows:

1st XI League
Because the number of entrants for 2017-18 has reduced to 12, only four of which would naturally fit into a ‘South’ Division, the decision has been made to revert to a single division structure. One consequence of this move was to restructure the Fixture List so that teams play each other once, rather than home and away. The number of fixtures per school reduces from 14 to 11 although the number of unplayed matches during 2016-17 suggests that this will help a number of schools.

2nd XI League
As in previous seasons, the 2nd XI League will run with a single division, where teams play each other once.

In line with the wishes of the majority of schools, a Fixture List has been generated for all the Under-18 competitions. Dates have been set for matches in such a way as to take into account the requests made by schools to avoid specific dates but if any of these requests have been missed then schools are free to reverse fixtures or agree alternative dates provided this is communicated to MSFA in advance.

The fixtures for both divisions are available for download, as well as via the dedicated pages for each competition on this site.
