Despite an impressive performance, the Middlesex SFA Under-15 squad were narrowly beaten by their counterparts from Sussex.

Middlesex made a bright start, but went behind after 20 minutes.

In the second half, Middlesex conceded another goal after a scramble in the box.

Middlesex then began to dominate the game, putting together some good passes. Eventually, Fortune Butungu scored on his debut for the Seaxes.

Middlesex came close  to scoring a number of times, but the Sussex goalkeeper made some outstanding saves to secure the win for the home side.
