For the first time in a number of years, the Middlesex Schools’ FA will be fielding Representative Teams for Girls as well as Boys. This will bring the number of teams entered into the South-East England Schools’ FA and English Schools’ FA competitions to five; two at U14, one at U15 and two at U16.
As always, we are looking for the help of our member schools’ to identify talented players to represent their County and as such, the following trial dates have been arranged:
Under-14 Boys: The arrangements for this team are yet to be finalised as we are seeking volunteers to manage it. This would involve taking the squad through one or two trials, then around six matches in and around the South of England. Anyone interested in this rewarding role should please email Chris Ampofo at the earliest opportunity.
Under-15 Boys: Thursday 27th September 4.30pm to 6.00pm at Rectory Park, Ruislip Road, Northolt, Middlesex, UB5 6SQ
Under-16 Boys: Tuesday 25th September 8.00pm to 9.30pm at Rectory Park, Ruislip Road, Northolt, Middlesex, UB5 6SQ .
Girls Team Trials: These will take place between 6:15pm and 8.00pm on Sunday 23rd September and Sunday 30th September at Silver Jubilee Park, Townsend Lane, Kingsbury, London NW9 7NE
Equipment: Players must wear footwear suitable for an artificial pitch, neutral (no badges) jersey, shorts & socks. They should also have a jacket or jumper in case of poor weather. Plenty of water is advisable.
