On a bitterly cold morning the Middlesex U16 squad welcomed Kent to Brunel University for their latest match in the SEESFA competition.

The game started with Middlesex playing into the wind. The Seaxes struggled to keep possession and were having trouble getting out of their own half. Kent had a fast right-sided player who was causing all kinds of problems for the home side and after 12 minutes he fed the Kent striker who finished into the corner.

Ten minutes later it was 2-0 to Kent as the same right-sided player went through and scored himself.

The second half started and Middlesex were better with the wind in their favour and almost scored when Moray Rinkson hit the bar. However, that was as close as Middlesex came to scoring. Again the Middlesex squad applied themselves well and there were some good performances; Negus Malcom had a good game as did Sean Alexander.

Squad: Eric Negraru, Ibrahim Elhaouarj, Dan Boswell, Sean Alexander, Moray Rinkson, Avishek Luchman, Amir Hadi, Negus Malcom, Brandonne Folly, Anthony White, Ebrima, Ali, Antonio De Sousa
