The Middlesex Schools’ FA Girls Representative Teams have both qualified for the semi-finals of their respective South-East England Schools’ FA (SEESFA) competitions.

The U16 Girls finished top of their group in the Victoria Dodds Trophy, so were drawn at ‘home’ to Hertfordshire, who finished second in the opposite section. However, in an effort to ensure that both Counties have the opportunity to field their strongest squads, it has been agreed to play the fixture just ‘over the border’ on Wednesday 9th March at Sun Postal Sports and Social Club, Bellmount Wood Avenue, Watford, WD17 3BN. Kick-off will be 7:30pm.

The U14 Girls were second in their section, so will be away to Essex, who won the North Section of the Essex Cup. This match will take place on Tuesday 15th March at Barking FC, Mayesbrook Park, Lodge Avenue, Barking, RM8 2JR. Kick-off will be 7:30pm.

We’d like to acknowledge the support of our colleagues at the Essex Schools’ FA in facilitating the playing of the match on a date which avoids clashing with an FA Discover My Talent event.

Unfortunately, none of the Boys’ Representative Teams finished in the top two places of their groups, so have not qualified for the knockout phases of their competitions.
