The Middlesex Schools’ Football Association wishes to announce that the SEESFA Representative Matches away to Inner London, which had been scheduled for Saturday 19th November, have been postponed.
The two Associations have mutually agreed that the proposed venue, the Crystal Palace FC Academy Ground, is no longer suitable for staging a ‘block’ fixture involving matches at three age groups. This is because the venue’s COVID-19 protocols would apparently prohibit either County from accessing changing rooms before or after the games.
Neither MSFA nor our friends at Inner London CSFA feel it is appropriate to ask players, parents and coaches to commit to round trips of up to four hours to and from Beckenham without having changing facilities available and we are grateful to our colleagues at Inner London for making us aware of the situation as soon as they became aware of a potential issue.
We look forward to playing Inner London at an alternative venue later in the season.
