- Once again, the 2025/26 tournaments have been grouped into a northern (Barnet, Brent, Enfield and Haringey) and a western zone (Ealing, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hounslow) On the occasion that the northern teams have more numbers in a particular draw, some Brent and Barnet schools will transfer to the western zone.
- The first two, and in some cases three rounds have been drawn from a hat at random, maintaining each school in its respective zone.
- The winner of the 24/25 competition will pass to the second round automatically if the number of entrants to a competition is more than 32, every other team has the opportunity of being drawn to play in the first round or to pass through to the second round.
- The subsequent rounds: Last 16 in some cases, Quarter Finals and Semi Finals will work on an open draw system across the whole county (i.e. a team from the western zone could face off against a team from the northern zone).
- At the end of each round, the draw for the next round will take place.
- The Brigg Cup will continue to work with three teams in each group, however, this year there is a twist. Each team will get 1 point for fulfilling their match, however, if a team forefits their match, they will lose a point. We have 30 entrants this year and have five groups in the northern zone and five in the western zone. The top team automatically proceeds to the Last 16. The best eight of the 10 automatically get a home draw. The best six second place teams proceed to the Last 16.
