This 25-strong group has been picked from approximately 80 players who participated in a two-stage trial process. With 18 schools represented and a pool drawn from six of the eight boroughs which form the Association’s catchment area, this squad is indeed a Representative Squad in the best sense of the term.
We should also like to offer a word for those players who didn’t make the final squad. The standards set in both sessions were exceptional, which made narrowing the squad down an extremely difficult task. Everyone who participated in the process should be proud of their contribution.
