The Middlesex Schools’ Football Association is delighted to announce that it is able to partially reverse the decision to cease running County teams announced in March and will continue to field Girls Representative Teams. This has been made possible by the hard work of the coaches of these squads, who have secured donations which will cover the running costs of the two squads. The coaching staff have also successfully recruited an administrator to support the teams.

As a result, we are now seeking nominations of players to represent the County at U14 and U16 age groups. To be eligible, students MUST attend school in one of Barnet, Brent, Ealing, Enfield, Haringey, Harrow, Hillingdon or Hounslow. Residency in one of these boroughs would not qualify a player to represent Middlesex if she goes to school in a borough which is outside the catchment area defined by the English Schools’ FA. This area is limited to the eight boroughs listed above and so does not include the entire historic County Boundary.

Nominations will be accepted from responsible adults, such as Teachers, Parents / Carers or club Coaches and can be made by completing our online form. All trials will take place at Rectory Park. The first round will be held on Tuesday 11th July in two sessions:

U14: 6pm – 8pm
U16: 8pm – 10pm

PLAYERS MUST BE NOMINATED IN ORDER TO TRIAL. The deadline for nominations is 4:00pm on Friday 7th July.

Girls who are successful at the first trials will go forward to the Final Trials on Sunday 16th July. The session times for the Final Trials are:

U14: 9am – 11am
U16: 11am – 1pm

The 2023-24 Representative Squads will be selected following the Final Trials and will compete in regional and national competitions.
